Brett Silverberg graduated with honors from the University of Michigan. He then received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. Mr. Silverberg also received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Miami Business School.
While in law school, Mr. Silverberg was the Executive Editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review. He also earned numerous accolades, which include: (i) the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Communications and Research I; (ii) ) the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Communications and Research II; (iii) the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Evidence; (iv) the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award in Business Organizations; and (v) the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award in Professional Responsibility & Ethics.
Prior to joining the Gucciardo Law Firm, Mr. Silverberg was practicing law in Miami, Florida. There, he concentrated his practice in the areas of business law and litigation, condominium association law, construction law, and real estate transactional and litigation work. Mr. Silverberg also has published numerous articles on various areas of the law ranging from construction defect litigation and construction insurance claims to the law and economics of political campaign contributions.
